Description
A Macebell is a training mace that was originally used as a war weapon in Hindu culture, where it was known as the Gada. In those times, it was made from a bamboo stick with an iron or steel ball at the end. Today, macebells—also called training maces or training hammers—are made of steel, and the weight is unevenly distributed, with most of it concentrated in the head.
What is macebell training for? It’s used to develop rotational power, mainly through two key movements: the 360º swing and the 300º swing. Training with Hypefit macebells helps improve mobility, core stability (targeting the abs, lower back, pelvis, glutes, and spinal muscles), and grip strength.
At Hypefit, you’ll find macebells in the following weights: 2.5 kg, 5 kg, 7.5 kg, 10 kg, and 15 kg. Choose the weight that best matches your level and train like the Indian warriors of centuries past. You can also complement your macebell training with our other tools, like kettlebells (Russian weights) and clubbells (training hammers).
