Description
A Macebell is a training mace that originated as a war weapon in Hindu culture, where it was known as the Gada. Back then, it was made from a bamboo stick with a head of iron and steel. Today, it’s used as a fitness tool and known as a macebell, training mace, or training hammer. Made of steel, its weight distribution is uneven—most of the mass is concentrated in the head.
What is macebell training for? It’s used to develop rotational power, primarily through two basic movements: the 360º swing and the 300º swing. Training with Hypefit’s macebells helps improve mobility, core stability (targeting abs, lower back, pelvis, glutes, and spinal muscles), and grip strength.
At Hypefit, you’ll find macebells in the following weights: 2.5 kg, 5 kg, 7.5 kg, 10 kg, and 15 kg. Choose the weight that best suits your level and train just like Indian warriors did centuries ago. You can enhance your workouts by combining our training maces with other tools like kettlebells (Russian weights) and clubbells (training hammers).
